Old cine films night

I got up early to drive hubby to Bangor station to catch the 9.20 train to Euston.
It was a really miserable day and rained heavily for most of it. I had made plans to go for a walk with my sister in law but the weather was too awful. Instead, we went round to her house and we all had a sausage and bacon baquette for lunch. It stopped raining for a little bit and we tried to persuade the girls to go for a short walk on the beach but they didm't want to and preferred to stay indoors to play with a cardboard box.
My sister in law and I went for a walk on our own along the promenade. As soon as we stepped outside, it started raining again.
I then went home and started to pack. I left the girls at my sister in law's.
In the evening, we went round to my brother's house to watch old 8mm films of us as children in the 70s and 80s. All my brothers were there with their children too. Our kids had never seen these films before. It was a really good night.
