Viking burial ship

Today was a day of boats! We visited the Viking Ship Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum, as well as the Folk Museum. (I also popped into the Fram Museum long enough to take a quick photo of the polar ship - unfortunately the museum was actually closed by then and our bus arrived!)

It's amazing to think that this viking boat was buried, a giant coffin, full of intriguing items such as sledges and shoes as well as the body.
