Lavender

This picture is in honour of Chaiselongue. Although it is taken in the gardens at Christ Church, it reminds me of the France Chaiselongue loved with the sunshine casting its shadows and the lavender's scent rising in the heat of the day.

Chaiselongue was one of the first to greet me on blip and was often the first to comment on my pictures - she loved to see pictures of Oxford and I am missing her terribly. I will always think of her when I reach for my camera in so many places but especiallywhen I am capturing images such as this one.
