Looking forward!

Happy New Year!
Today's the first day of my new start, so instead of looking back and posting a photo of the retreating flood, here could be the most boring blip of the day. It's the first few rows of the kilt hose my son will wear when he is best man at his brother's wedding. The groom refuses to wear wool - he has been claiming its itchy since he was two. And his ultimate revenge on his mother is to declare the kilt hose to be black. Knitting with black wool is purgatory - you can't see the pattern. You can however see mistakes, but taking the stitches back is eye cringing work.
I complain too much.
2014 is going to be good :)
