2014

So this is 2014. You better switch off the light to look at this blip.....

This is about 500 meters from our house, in the Rumyancev Garden (you can find some pictures and info in Russian here). At about 11.45 p.m. (still 2013) we left the house to get to the Neva River. Came a bit late so we met 2014 just in the middle of the street. At the embankment of the Neva River were some people and some private fireworks (the official fireworks were cancelled). We had a walk for about an hour with the kids - along the river and back through that garden. After we came home we had a late dinner and watched a film. The kids went to bed at 3 a.m., Igor and me at about 4.30.

Today it was a slow day again. Got up late. Went for a little walk in the grey, grey city in the afternoon. After that my friend Xenya and her son Savva visited us.

On the blip you can see the embankment of the Neva River and the houses and villas on the other side. On the very left you see the Isaac Cathedral.
