Loonies, dooking

What a refreshing start to the year, watching a bunch of people get very cold and wet.

In a first for us, we actually arrived to watch the annual loony dook before (rather than just after) it had happened. And it was a fine cold day for it too.

As usual, just after it's happened I feel enthusiastic about doing it myself next year. That way, I find I've got a whole year for my enthusiasm to fade.
