Happy New Year

Started off the new year as I finished the old - at work. However I didn't mind, a sober Hogmanay at Stirling Castle was no hardship compared to the anguish of a family delivered the cruel blow of leukaemia diagnosis for a loved one.
I had taken my gear into Edinburgh but as I left the lab the rain started. So home for lentil and ham soup followed by steak pie.
Showed G how to reclaim the cream he was about to discard as butter! Think he was impressed!
Late evening and no pictures taken today except for the blurry iPhone firework shots from the bells.
So the little Christmas cake folk washed ready to be put away till December wish you a very happy new year. I hope 2014 will be good to you all and your loved ones.
