Mr and Mrs

Today it seems lots of people have taken down their trees and Christmas decorations. But not The Lovelocks, no sir. Ours stay up as late as possible. I get why people are doing it - if you're back to work tomorrow it's probably something that feels right. But Christmas is special to us in so many ways that we like to hold on to it as long as we can.

This lovely tree decoration was a wedding present from a friend and work colleague - and every year it reminds us of how lucky we are to have got married at such a wonderful time of the year.

So the husband is back to work tomorrow after a nice long break and some kind of normality returns. But slightly changed normality - I plan to make some changes this year. I am going to try to get healthier and fitter. I plan this every year, and fail, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try, right?

So, with luck, couch to 5k resumes tomorrow. Wish me luck!
