Happy New Year

The first day of the year has been a relaxed lazy one.

Minnie has been waking at 2 every night we have been here but last night she slept till 530 which felt positively like a lie in - a quick bottle and she slept again till 830.

We went to a local hotel for dinner then back to the cottage for a snooze.

It has been a very wet and windy day so it's the first day we haven't been to the beach. It's the first New Year we haven't seen an amazing sunset :( There has just been way too much cloud early evening.

We've just polished off dinner and are about to watch Sherlock - I have such a crush in Benedict :)
