In His Hands

Jeremiah 29:11 "for I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"

This verse has been on my mind the last few weeks, that God has a plan for me, one that is full of hope. I have had a hard time recently but knowing that God has a plan gives me much comfort. My sister said something along the lines of this verse to me recently when I was describing the hard time I was having and I was saying that maybe God wanted me to go through it. I had a choice to make about whether to stick with it or make a change and I went with making a change after this conversation with her.

My picture here represents me putting this year in God's hands and trusting Him for what this year will bring. I've got a difficult meeting at work tomorrow, so I'm praying that God will be give me the right words to say, words that are wise.
