Waiting for The Great Leap Forwards

Happy New Year to all, and thanks for dropping by.
To quote my blip buddy Davetherave : so that's it another year gone by and I'm still breathing so I'm grateful for that

Had a relaxing new year's eve with Mme and Dylan.

Watched a film called Before Midnight, which is the 3rd installment (and hopefully not the last) in the series of our favourite films. if you have never heard of Before Sunrise and Before Sunset and you are a sentimental old fool like me, I would urge you to watch them in that order. The first is set in Vienna. The second, a decade later in Paris and the 3rd in Greece, another 10 years later. Nothing much happens in some ways, but the dialogue between the actors is brilliant. The 3rd film is less uplifting, but maybe that's life.

So we managed to stay awake until midnight and had a little dance together around the lounge until Dylan intervened: he doesn't like to be left out.

A relaxing day today, with an easy 10k to start the year.

A few resolutions:
Run (easy!) and try to take a minute or 2 off the marathon time.
Drink less, and drink nothing for the month of january (this one starts tomorrow!)
Carry on blipping, and take some photos with the auto-setting off !
Live more, laugh more and love more.
