Taking .....

..... the plunge.

The local New Years Day tradition is to take a plunge in the refreshing Victorian pool at White Wells. Today myself, Yearofhappy ( who is celebrating her 3rd blip birthday today ) and Spartan went along to jump in.

YOH did very well not to swear ( unlike on Yorkshire day ;) ) and Spartan was sporting a rather fetching Hannah Montana wig, I opted for a Victorian bathing costume to suit the surroundings. This photo of me was taken just outside the plunge pool building by YOH.

It was a fun experience and the three of us warmed up with some hot drinks in White Wells café afterwards. I've added a few more photos from today here, so today's blip is .....
