Goodbye to the seals

Visited the beach this morning and was surprised to see so few seals left. The high tides are helping them get back to sea, but I am worried that it might be a little too soon for some of the pups. they appear to be smaller than usual and I worry for their survival. This little pup appeared to be waving goodbye, and I wish them well.

Whilst I was on the beach I spotted a dog on the restricted area for the second time. I posted a pic of it on Facebook and the wonders of modern technology, we may have found the owner. Dora, if that is the dog, is a long way from home and had been missing since mid November. I have made arrangements to meet the hopeful "owner" tomorrow to see if we can stage a reconciliation. Wish us luck.
