First preschool field trip...

We headed to the fire station today for our first official field trip! I didn't realize it was National Fire Safety week! I guess I should have. The kids had a blast sitting in the big trucks and learning about where firefighters live. My favorite part was how adorable Mia was. She was the little kid, getting to be a part of all the big kid stuff... and she was thrilled! a couple of the moms couldn't get over how cute she was. She was just so so excited to be included and get to play with the big kids!

After preschool, we headed to the auto mechanic to see about getting a broken seatbelt fixed. I left the kids in the car for five minutes and when I returned with the mechanic, Tyler was standing there with a handful of tampons and a huge mischevious grin. The mechanic made some comment about mom's fireworks and I laughed for the rest of the day.

We enjoyed lunch on campus with Dad and had a quiet afternoon at home. Josh just arrived home late from his first basketball practice. I thought my sourdough french bread dough was tucked away safely in the oven to rise overnight. I didn't count on Josh coming in and baking up some chicken nuggets. I think I rescued my dough on time, but it was a CLOSE call!

Goodnight all. Apparently, my back blip from yesterday marked my 200th blip! I'm so out of it, I didn't even realize it!
