New Year - New Start

That's what they all say!!

In the new way of things I weighed myself this morning, as I will on the 1st of every month, I was pleasantly surprised.
I'm not as heavy as I was last year but a completely different shape!! I guess that's part of the new job where I sit down all day. I used to run, and I enjoyed it but of late I am surprised at how unfit I have become.
So in the spirit of "New Year - New Start" I decided that today I walk the dogs, from home to Maenporth via Gyllyngvase and Swanpool Beaches, Joshua elected to walk with me. We set off in driving rain and a howling gale. By the time we reached Maenporth, caked in mud, I was ready for a coffee. Clare picked us up and we came home via the garage for logs and the cinema. Tomorrow is the latest instalment of the Hobbit in 3D with a meal beforehand.
Tonight is family time, the start of the last long week-end before Sam and Josh return to school and Clare starts in the Frailty Unit.
