Start as you mean to go on

Happy New Year everyone! I wish you and yours all the best for 2014. I'm excited about the year to come in a way I haven't been for a while. I feel optimistic about positive changes that can be made this year.

With that in mind, I got up earlier than I wanted to in order to walk the Porty promathon. Many people run it but running is not my style. It was a lovely morning with a big, expansive sky and lots of people were out and about, enjoying the light.

The rest of the day has been spent in restful repose - most agreeable.

Here's hoping for a positive, peaceful, purposeful year ahead.
