They don't make them like this any more!
And on reflection - thank goodness!
May I say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to all of you who took the time and trouble to send your congratulations on my achieving 365 consecutive blips. It's warming to know that the Blip Community is out there, interested in one's work.
To be perfectly honest, I was thinking of finishing once I had achieved the 365 objective, but I simply can't bear to lose you all. So I'm staying and of course, I enjoy the daily challenge so much.
One small difference is that I might miss the odd day -if the weather is awful etc - but the thought of not seeing all of your work is enough to keep me in there, I assure you.
Having said all that, the weather here in Kent today is absolutely appalling, but I couldn't skip-off after all your wonderful encouragement. The picture is a bit "old-hat", but things really were like that - and for so long. Just like the motor industry, photographic gear seemed to be marooned in a sea of antiquity for 35/40 years and then whoosh - new electronic models every month. I know I wouldn't like to go back!
