In Search of Old Cinemas: Poynton Cheshire

On the corner of Bulkeley Road and Clumber Road, Poynton there is a catholic church. This was originally a cinema from c1920 to c1930, only closing when a new larger cinema was built in the 1930s - The Brookfield Hydro. It became a church in 1941.
