Pebble strewn
Well, we've made it into the new year. After clear skies at midnight ( a dog barking, a heron squawking and then two fireworks from the nearby pub) the gales and hail came swooshing in. Another tree has been uprooted and another couple are looking a bir dodgy. Some replanting will be needed this year.
We took down the decorations, chucked out the tree and went for a bracing walk along the headland at Sunny Cove. TJ had been there yesterday and mentioned the size of the waves. It was amazing - huge boulders strewn all over the place, some on the road along with a sprinkling of shells.
Himself has been updating his websites and I've been doing a card inventory. Out tonight so catch up later.
