Happy New Year

This chick was the only bird prepared to sit still to be blipped. The rest of the birds (outside) are huddled together sheltering from the rain and hanging on tightly to prevent being blown away.

We are enjoying the comforts of home. I listened and intermittently watched the New Year’s Day concert from Vienna on TV this lunchtime. A tradition when we are at home, which brings back memories of previous years.
