In the end the possible wander down to Porty to see the bonfire and fireworks were vetoed. Mel went off for a snooze to make sure she would be awake enough to see in the bells, and promptly didn't wake up again till the fireworks from the Castle woke her up. And then there was a very odd version on the telly of Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' with some guy who couldn't really sing warbling in front of Ally Bain and Co who seemed to be playing an entirely different song in the background.
