Pride!!

I spent most of the afternoon painting the bathroom.
when the kids got out of school, they wanted to help paint!

letting them help me meant that:
-the project would take 3 times as long.
-the walls would be not as smooth as I would like
-that things that didn't need paint would get painted
-clothes would get ruined

but most importantly it meant that at the end i would have 3 kids that :
-were proud of their work.
-had ownership of the bathroom.
-can say "I can do that" , "i know how to do that"

... priceless
