Where is the snow and ice?

This has been very peculiar year-end. We had a little bit snow in the beginning of the December. Then they melted away. Lake Lahnajärvi was covered with ice and snow. First the snow melted away and finally also the ice disappeared 30.12.2013.
Actually I don't like this kind of weather at all. It is so twilight all the day. And because the ground surface is wet, our dogs bring with them gravel and mud inside the house.
But on the other hand it is nice that we don't have to feel cold outside :-) And I suppose that quite soon we're going to get just enough snow and ice :-)
