Sparkling Hogmanay

We had a lovely celebratory lunch in Harvey Nichols - beautiful food (salmon roulade, roast partridge) and lovely wine. This is a grainy shot of the crystal 'curtain' between the dining rooms. I liked the way that they caught the light.

Then home for a cosy evening with close family watching Mama Mia, then the Hogmanay programmes and then out to watch the fireworks. We had a surprisingly clear view from along the street. I've been to the 'street party' many times and much prefer to be tucked up at home for the Hog.
