Hazard on the 17th
It was one of those days when I had plenty to blip. Aftermath of New Year's Eve as we left Sydney, Russian lunch with friends, trying out the new pizza oven on my brother-in-law's part of the farm. However after blipping the Megalong Open the other day I thought I should record another sighting of the hazard on the 17th hole. The tree which constitutes the hole actually has a real hole at the base which is inhabited by this red bellied black snake. We see lots of them at the farm, mainly near the creek. They are not as venomous as many Australian snakes but the bite can be fatal, especially to children, dogs and cats. View in LARGE to see the red belly.
