Last Christmas

Last Christmas was quite a tough one for me as I was still going through broken ankle recovery (physically & mentally) and didn't have a job.

My family are very important to me and this year I wanted to thank them for all their wonderful support and love and encouragement they have always given me, and in the last 2 years especially. I've gone through a lot of changes lately and I'm not the same woman I once was in many respects.

So although I had more money jingling in my pocket than last year, it was important for me to make something with my own hands. As you can see I settled on baking some tasty treats :) had quite a lot of fun with the reindeer ones!

We've tried a few (just for quality control reasons obviously!) and baking with love in mind and singing along to Christmas songs seem to have helped my cakes turn out a heck of a lot better than the last batch!!
