Spot The Kookaburras.

New Years Day and I had to work.

It wasn't too bad, busy and hot as usual, just a normal day, until a young woman practically collapsed on top of me.

Luckily we weren't too far from the nurses station, so my work mate ran off to get her, whilst I looked after the young woman.

The nurse came within a few seconds, and took charge. By this time I'd found the woman's husband, mother and two very large-eyed little girls, who'd watched their mother collapse.

It turned out she had collapsed because of the heat and lack of food.

She came and found me later to thank me for looking after her and her family, which I thought was really nice.
