Ring-necked Duck

I had a wonderful midday meal with most of my family at my favorite fish restaurant. After our leisurely lunch we went for a walk at El Dorado East Regional Park in Long Beach, CA.

We saw various birds including a Great Blue Heron and a Green Heron on the same fallen tree, Mallard Ducks, Pied-billed Grebes, and a pair of Ring-necked Ducks.

The evening was spent quietly at home after a couple of busy days with my niece.
