I Want Bugs

Gaiwan is my nicest cave gecko. He's a Chinese Cave Gecko (Goniurosaurus luii). He is also the most outgoing that I have other than my Hainan Cave Gecko (G. hainanensis) Ginseng. (Scientific names are used here because the common names are extremely confusing, mis-matched and wrong in this genus of geckos.)

I got feeders today. On feeder delivery days I give my geckos a little bit extra (annnd it was New Years Eve, so I tend to give more to them on holidays too). I was surprised to see my gargoyle gecko girl Rhea eating bugs. I always offer, but none of my gargoyles tend to go for bugs. When she did I was very pleased so I gave her a few more. :) She seemed pretty happy hunting them down.

I nearly made my goal this month! I only missed one day for bliping. I'm extremely proud of myself. Now to make more of them great-quality. No cheating this time!! :)
