New Year's Eve, Ponytail Falls

A good day for a walk so we took the Horsetail Falls trail. This is Ponytail Falls and the route takes you right behind the drop of the water. A beautiful trail but tricky underfoot and the bridge crossing at Oneonta Gorge had been declared safe for only one person at a time.
