HAPPY NEW YEAR

I was chatting with my residents this evening & they all seem to miss the old days of New Year Celebrations, the days when we only had 3 channels to watch & we would say goodbye to the past with Andy Stewart, swinging kilts, bagpipes & whisky, there only seems to be the whisky left now, everything else has been replaced by fireworks & tuneless music (apart from the Pink Floyd bit in the middle of the London display which has just ended).
To sum things up and to give my old dears a taste of the past may I wish everyone out there peace, prosperity and a joyous AULD LANG SYNE
