Today's task was to climb this ladder, lie in the hatch, fling my legs out so they were at right angles to the ladder and drag myself in through the hole into the roof space...
I was in tears - part laughing, part crying. It was quite horrible and K had to drag me through. I was quite convinced I'd never be able to get out.
We cleared up lots of lime rubble and managed to get out in one piece.

This evening let the boys stay up late playing board games to see the new year in.
