As the sun sets on 2013

A year I will not be sad to see the back of.
Didn't really expect this today, it's been a bit dull and dreich.
It was lovely to see.
I also saw Venus low in the south too, possibly the last time I will see it in a while, it's getting closer to the sun from from our vantage point here on the third rock.
But it will return soon to the morning sky, when, clear skies permitting, it will be unmistakable again :-)
It's a lovely starry sky out there now, Orion has risen, Jupiter is bold and bright to the left outshining the twins Castor and Pollux.
Brightening my soul.
Mind just head down to the Red Hot Highland Fling now.
I've been in two minds about going all day, my heart wants to go, my head is coming up with the pro's and con's.
Time to conquer my demons.
