Sunrise from the train

The days are rapidly shortening. Now the sun has only just risen by the time I get to Edinburgh.

It was another nice autumn day weatherwise. I walked along Rose Street and back along George Street at lunchtime. Nice and quiet compared to August when the festival was on.

In the evening we watched 'Kevin McCloud's Grand Tour of Europe' off our Sky+ backlog. What a fantastic program ! The images of Florence made us wonder why we have never been there. Looks amazing.
