New year, new growth

I discovered these unexpected beauties in Mum's back garden this morning! The garden is sheltered on four sides and although it's been wet this year there hasn't been the cold spell we expect in December. An early-ish blip for me tonight as I need to sort out the refreshments for our Hogmanay family gathering. Here's toast to you fellow blippers for your fellowship in 2013 since I joined this great online community:
