Dunmanus Bay

I have spent most of today photographing and uploading some of my paintings to my Blipfolio. This is acrylic on canvas but normally I work on paper. It is 60cms (2 feet) square.

I have discovered some nifty lights for photographing flat objects - they are actually kitchen cabinet under-lights with 30cm neon tubes and a diffuser. I found that by attaching them to two chairs I could get a pretty even light. I also use those exercise 'sand-bag' weights designed to strap to your arms and legs to allow the tripod to balance at 45 degrees. It's all very Heath Robinson but it works!
