Hanging out

We are temporarily carless but also slightly stir crazy so, despite the weather, we decided to get out of the house. Dan did some excellent work coordinating film schedules and the bus timetable, and ascertained that our best bet was the 14:44 to Lancaster to see 'Walking with Dinosaurs'.

Today's photo is of Dan and Abi at the bus stop, waiting for the bus and mildly excited by the novelty of the occasion. And I suspect that bus travel will remain a rarity - despite any green intentions - as the return trip to Lancaster was an eye-watering £15 for the three of us.

Looking at this photo I was struck by Abi's attire. which reminds me of the fashions from Alan Moore's 'Ballad of Halo Jones', where the characters wore skinny leggings and big boots. (Long-suffering readers of this blog will be aware that prior to its name change, I was in a band called Halo Jones.)
