Whisky Galore! - But not for Drinking.

The two tall bottles look quite ordinary and we had one in our cupboard which we put down as a cheap blend from a closed distillery in Falkirk.
It had some sentimental value as my wife is from there, but some how it was never opened,us being non drinkers of whisky.
If a friend came we would likely disregard this one in favour of a known malt like Glenfiddich, pushing this cheap one to the back.
We were having a toast to see in Christmas at my mother-in-laws at Christmas and my daughter was wondering what to have and wondered about the other Rosebank whisky that was unopened there but decided against it. Phew are we now glad.
It turns out that these 8 year olds are non blended,I assume a funny way of saying a single malt.
Cutting a long story short,I googled last night and found these two bottles are on sale for £570 each.........
The Dimple bottle which is small and old and 70% proof is worth a lot but not to the same scale.
Goodness they could have ended up on a bottle stall.
