Ian's 80th

We celebrated my father-in-law’s 80th birthday with a visit to Ayr, where we walked on the beach (in a strong wind) and up the short pier. We were going to have lunch at Su Casa veggie café, which has some great write-ups on Trip Advisor, but it was closed so we went to a Wetherspoons pub, the West Kirk, a tastefully converted former church built in 1845. Preachers included Ian Hislop’s dad.
