Rainbow over the Malverns

The night had been pretty wild and wet, and it continued into the morning. The weather finally began to improve and calm down late morning, so after lunch Roger, Judy and I went out for a walk on the Malverns. Peter stayed at home nursing his cold and Janet had to go and do some grocery shopping. Up on the top of the hills it was so windy we could barely stand upright, but there was some wonderful late afternoon light and shafts of light from distant clouds. It then began to sprinkle with rain which was followed by this wonderful complete rainbow right across the Malverns. A wonderful winters afternoon walk. After dinner we played a couple of games of Scrabble, but it wasn't my night - I finished second in the first game and a definite last in the second game!
