Torchlight Procession #Blogmanay

Decided that we'd try to see the Torchlight Procession from a different angle this year, so headed for a spot on the Mound from which we could see the procession passing and the fireworks in the distance. Testing the temperature out there, I'm adding another layer at least to planned apparel for tomorrow night's outing to Princes Street Gardens - but have a cottage to turn round first as more guests arrive. No rest for me.

In other news, I've made a newspaper's "Hot 40" List, being placed 39th. Not going to let the fame go to my head - after all, I was pipped by a panda and some doughnuts!
