The Countdown Begins

The countdown to Silvester has started evidenced by the huts springing up selling chimney sweeps, four leafed clovers, horseshoes, ladybirds and - that greatest symbol of luck - pigs. Not much time for picture hunting today, for I have been swede hunting (root vegetable, not the Bjorn variety) and have failed miserably. We are holding a small dinner party tomorrow and for the main course, I'm cooking haggis. I had intended making tatties and neeps, but as I can't find the neeps, it's going to be tatties and red cabbage instead. Rabbie Burns would turn in his grave!
