My old friend Rolf lives on a wonderful house boat just across the river from me. Two years ago it was possible to walk across on the ice. Shame I wasn't a Blipper yet as I took a picture of him standing in front of his boat on the water. I've uploaded it for you here as it was a rare event.
This afternoon I was invited for mulled wine, which was heated on the woodburning stove. Since the recipe involved vodka, it's amazing I managed to upload this picture at all :-) Cheers, dear ones, have a wonderful Hogmanay/Sylvester/Old Year's eve (dutch) or New Years' Eve!
