high water

The Ilen in full spate this morning after a day and night of heavy rain. This is the angler's seat half submerged.

I had a lovely day; a lie in and a slap up breakfast, pressies, cards and calls from various family members. Then lunch with a group of friends at a friends house - much hilarity, and more pressies. and wine.

Then home to a delicious dinner and a cosy evening in.

All perfect, and feeling very well fed !

I am having problems with getting pictures to upload to blip for the last week or so and have been having to email them. And then it sometimes takes several attempts to get the picture to attach to the email. I'm not sure what's going on but its very annoying. Anyone else having this problem? Or can shed any light on it?
