What lies beneath?

Flat hunting, in the hope my cursed Oxford flat sells.

I discovered that some ground floor flats have a basement vault running under the entire floor space of the flat (theoretically for the whole building to access as storage).

The flat's owner claimed his wife was away......he looked a bit shifty.

My current flat also has this space - have not explored as yet!
