Failure

Apparently, the good mother has a proper needlework box and is not afraid to use the contents, can sew pony club badges to jumpers in minutes and does so happily and with good grace.

I however have an old biscuit tin full of stuff that I can't identify, and it takes me hours to sew on badges, muttering and swearing all the while and counting down the minutes to the next gin and tonic. Still don't see why I couldn't just use superglue and have done with.
