Just Balancing

Another very stormy night but by mid morning the sun had come out again.

This is a small part of Heckwood Tor. A huge block of granite weighing several tons is just balancing. Over a period of thousands and thousands of years the elements have worked around and underneath so that only a small area is now in contact, but it's not going anywhere soon!
