Made some shortbread today. First time & second use of the electric whisk I had for Christmas.

Some have chocolate chips, some don't. Thought I'd make some look like dominoes.

Worked in the charity shop till 1, then Mam & Dad came to visit this afternoon. Had a nice chat and introduced them to Minerva, who seemed to go down well.

Then went to Mezza Luna, a Moroccan-Lebanese restaurant we visit fairly frequently. The lady there always recognised us, and today while asking Craig if he wanted the usual wine she filled in 'pinot grigio?' which made us all laugh & made me realise how often we visit!

Had a really nice meal and Mam enjoyed which was important as it was her first time in a Moroccan or Lebanese restaurant. We then waved them goodbye only for Craig's best friend, Ivan, to arrive early for New Years Eve.
