Milk Pod

I almost froze to death walking to the lake for a picture!! It's 3 degrees, with a wind chill of 10 degrees below zero, & even as bundled up as I was, it was freezing! I could see the lake in the distance, & it looked so pretty with the steam rising up all over, as the air temperature is so much colder than the water temperature.....but I never made it that far! My hands & face were numb, so as I turned around to head back home, I spotted this milk weed pod. I love the golden color of the inside of the pod, & how it picks up the muted golden colors of the weeds in the background. 2 quick shots, & home to a hot cup of coffee!!
