My husband and I only ever go grocery shopping around the time that the fresh produce is reduced. This week, we managed to score punnets of cranberries at 9p a go! Obviously, this meant I bought about 3 kg of the things, even though I've never had cause to cook with them before.

So, I made some cranberry jam. The first batch has come out rather well, but I might be a bit adventurous with the second batch and add some plums to see how that works out.

Recipe: tons of cranberries; tons of sugar; a bit of water. So easy!
